Upcoming gigs at the Colston Hall

This post is going to be unashamably poptastic, as some of the biggest names in the pop world will be playing at Bristol’s very own Colston Hall within the next couple of months.

Gigs at the Folk House sat on small tables with candles on, watching an earnest singer-songwriter, are all well and good, but one of the best things about Bristol is the variety of live music  that takes place here, and without an arena the place where pop acts come to play is the Colston Hall.

Over the last few years, I have seen some top talent there including the Saturdays and Alesha Dixon. Unlike a standard indie gig where lasers are about as revolutionary as it gets, a pop gig sees the band pull out all the stops with costume changes, dance routines and an extravagant stage set.

Coming up soon at the Colston Hall are JLS on February 18, Ronan Keating on March 2 and 3, Mika on March 4 and Peter Andre on March 9.

All are now sold out, but there are normally returns on the door.
