There will be much hoo-hah over the next few months preceeding the launch of Skins season four.

Two things that happened today are just the beginning.

1) The Sun newspaper promoting two characters in a lesbian embrace in the new issue of Diva magazine. TWO TEENAGE LESBIANS CUDDLE IN RACY PHOTOSHOOT!

2) A fortnight-long party is announced: 

Skins is returning, and this year, we’re celebrating by what we do best: partying hard. We’re taking Skins back to its roots and are taking over something special in Bristol for two weeks around the launch of Series 4.

We’re setting up right now, somewhere in Bristol, and working with the best team of people from Bristol and beyond to put together an awesome line-up of gigs, club nights and too much more, to herald the return of your favourite show. And you may even get to see the cast…

That’s all for now we’re afraid but we wanted you to be the first to know…head back here on January 7th and all will be revealed, we promise. Hold on – cos it’s gonna be mega, and let the mayhem commence…

I’m looking forward to the new series, mostly for some Bristol location-spotting. I just hope that the characters remain close to life and not some ghastly caricatures
